Sparkle or bling challenge at Winter Wonderland

Good morning all

We have  a new Christmas challenge starting at

Winter Wonderland

the theme is

Sparkle or bling

I decided to create a page in my art journal
because I  was totally inspired by this lovely image that I got to choose from our sponsor

Called Winter Wonders
available HERE

our sponsor this week is

Helen Niles foto.

I really enjoyed creating this page.  I love just being messy and the result of having another page in my journal when I've finished, it's a different feeling to making  just another card

This is what i did....

Image - Winter Wonders from Crafty Sentiment Designs
Assorted stamps from MFT, Leonie Pujol and Crafty individuals
Image coloured with Spectrum Noir sparkle pens and Colourblend pencils
Page coloured with TH distress inks and sparkle pens

Hope you'll join in with us this week

Hugs

This one's a challenge!!

Good Morning all

It's time to start getting those Christmas cards on the go

Yes really!!

We are starting off our Christmas challenges again at

and our theme is

Add Lace

and for me that is a challenge! - I don't really like lace : (
in fact in truth I don't really like this card - but I think the lace got in the way of my mojo lol
- I'd even go as far to say I liked it better before the lace!!
but such is the life of a DT girl - a challenge it is and we can't like them all

We are sponsored this week by the fab
who are offering a prize of  3 digis for the winner

Here is my card made with a precoloured topper from LOTV

This is what I did....

Image - precoloured from LOTV artpad (what a shame that these are discontinued)
Card and paper is from my stash - paper could be Docrafts!?
Merry Christmas - Britannia Dies
Layers cut with Sue Wilson Noble dies from Creative Expression
Large Holly die - Sizzix thinlet
tag die - MFT
Small holly - cut from a memory box holly garland die
Holly berries, ribbon and lace and pearls are from my stash

So come on! - give yourself a helping hand and start on your Christmas cards! - one a week will be so pleased you did when December comes - perhaps you like a lace a lot better than I do - do me a favour and give me some inspiration in our challenge!!

There's a bears and mice thing going on over at Penny's Paper Challenge this week

Hi again

I'm playing a bit of post catch up this week after my busy weekend away and this is my DT card

our theme this week is

Bears and Mice

and the DT girls have had such fun with this cute theme

Here is my card using
Henry Mushroom Bear - available here
(I see it's on sale just now - so go on and bag yourself a bargain!!)

Crafty sentiments is one of our fab sponsors this week and I have to confess a new one for me - I have never use their images before.  But I so enjoyed colouring this cute little bear scene - a really easy one to colour.  I also decided to have another try at colouring sky with copics and was quite pleased with how it turned out.  The card is just overall colourful but was quite easy to do.

We have 3 sponsors this week in total - so lots of lovely prizes up for grabs

Who are offering 3 digis of the winners choice

Who are offering a $12 voucher

who are offering a prize of 4 non coloured digi images

This is what I did....
