Happy 5th birhday to Fab'n'Funky Challenges!

Good morning all

It's certainly a good morning over at

Where we are celebrating our 5th birthday!

I can't remember where the last year went - 5 years is just waaaay to much to think about lol

Our theme this week is as you would expect

Happy Birthday
(so anything birthday related)

I used the gorgeous

Birhday Cake Sassy available here

It came in very handy having a birthday challenge as it's my lovely god-daughter Sophie's birthday this week - Sophie is a very sassy lady! - so this image is perfect for her card- I can definitely see a lot of Sophie in this sassy lady, she is also tall slim and gorgeous - and 24 years old - what a lovely age to be.

We have two sponsors joining us for our celebrations this week

Pennys Paper crafty challenge - Polka dots and pearls

Hello again

Here I am with card number two for today - this time for

Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge

Our theme this week is

Polka dots and pearls

I had chosen this very pretty image from

Sassy Studio Designs

she is called Rapunzel Sasy - available here

Coloured her up with copics  in a  spellbinders die cut frame - then pretty much couldn't decide what to do with her!  I had some lovely linen effect cards left over from some invitations I had made  and as she is such a pretty little girl I decided that she didn't need much at all.  She has pearls in her hair and my polka dots are on the little organza ribbon, the sentiment is from the lovely new set of Anna Griffin birthday sentiments that I got from QVC last week  - so that's it -done!!

Hope you'll pop over to Penny's this week - there are some lovely cards and we have some lovely new teamies too

Hugs

Anything goes at Pennys Papercrafty Challenge

Hello again

I'm back with my second post of the day - this time its for

and our theme this week is

Anything Goes

I used this cute image from Sassy Studios -one of our sponsors this week
called Sassy Elizabeth Laura Bennett she is available here

I thought she needed a fairly simple pretty and demure design  to compliment her fairly simple, pretty, demure looks!
I got this paper free with a magazine ages ago - they are Websters Papers and on the front it says a combo of Western Romance and All About Me - they are very pretty pale coloured papers and I thought they were perfect for Miss Elizabeth Laura

Our sponsors this week are offering some fab prizes - pop over to the blog for more information and to see the fab and fun creations that my teamies have come up with this week

Embossing at Penny's Papercrafty Challenge this week

Morning all

It's that day of the week again - when I grace this page with two DT cards in one day!

Here is the first (I'll be back with my Fab'n'Funky Challenges Christmas card later)

This one is for our Embossing Challenge over at

Penny's Paper Crafty Challenges

I'm using one of our sponsor images
this is Goldie Sassy
from Sassy Design Studios available here

Isn't she just so pretty! - a real party girl.

This card was really easy to make - I used an embossing folder to make the background after first inking it with  Perfect Medium, I then highlighted  the embossed areas by dusting over with perfect pearls in pink and green- I was really pleased with the effect - it looks very pretty IRL.

We have two fab sponsors this week

and

Here's what I did
