Coffee anyone?

Good morning all

Hopefully you are reading this (scheduled) post!
I'm away on my hollies in Florida but didn't want to miss out on this lovely challenge at

Moving Along with the Times

the theme is

Food and Drink

I made this card for my hubby's birthday in January - anyone who knows him knows why!!
He's just a total coffeeholic - can't pass a coffee shop when he's out and the coffee pot's always on when he's at home.  I've had these lovely dies from Apple Blossom crafts for a while - but they were bought with him in mind but also so useful for lots of cards both male and female.  I love them!

It's an 8 x8 inch card and there was lots of die cutting, inking and matting and layering involved - quite time consuming but nothing complicated at all.  As long as it's all lined up well it's a really easy card to make - and one of those that gives you a sense of satisfaction at the end!

This is what I did .....

Dies and stamps -Apple Blossom Crafts - lifes pleasures collection
Papers - LOTV Country Gent pad (now discontinued)
Black, centura pearl silver metalic and craft card - Crafter's Companion
Distress inks - Tea dye and brushed corduroy

Hope you'll join in with our challenge this time - I'll call in to see all your yummy makes( if I have a few moments here by the pool!!)

Hugs

Judith xx

And it's christmas again......

Good morning all

Well it's definitely winter - and Christmas is in winter lol
Though to be fair we had some lovely sunshine here yesterday
- lets hope it lasts!

It's time for a new just for fun challenge at

Fab'n'Funky Challenges

and its our once a month theme of

Christmas
(we're trying hard to encourage good Christmas crafting habits!!)

This is a lovely stamp that I bought last year from Woodware - I love their stamps they are so easy to colour and always make quite quick and easy CAS cards.  I coloured these with the lovely Colourtint pencils from Crafter's Companion - just the perfect shades for this lovely image.  I coloured onto Canson Watercolour paper - I just love the texture of this paper - it makes such a huge difference to the finished result.

This is what I did....

Image - Peace from Woodware at Creative Expressions
Coloured with - Colourtint pencils from Crafter's Companion
Paper used - Canson Watercolour paper
Blackcard - from Crafter's Companion

It would be great to see you playing along - anything Christmas will do!

It's anything but square day - and my birthday too!

Good morning all

I've broken my own rules today to make this card!  I set myself the 'crafting with a purpose' challenge in January 2017 and this card is the first I've made that doesn't fit that criteria - but this is such a cute image I just couldn't resist - and I got to use my new Noble Octagon Double Stitched dies from Sue Wilson at Creative Expressions - because our theme is....

Anything but Square

at
 Fab'n'Funky Challenges

The image and sentiment are from the new 'Cute as a Button' CD from

who is our sponsor this week

On balance I'm sure I'll use this card- it's far too cute not to give!

This is what I did.....

Image from Whoopsie Daisy Cute as a button CD
Dies - Noble Double stitched Octagon die from Sue Wilson
        - banner from LaLa land
       - nautical die cutes from MFT
Card, paper and ribbon from my stash

Hope you'll join in with our challenge this week

I think we could all do with some spring flowers.......

Good morning all

I hope you've all survived the 'beast from the east'!
last week was certainly a weird one but I'm glad to report that our snow had disappeared.
we've had a lot of rain to wash it away and now we have a lot of water instead!

Roll on those spring days and spring flowers and sunshine
I don't think I hate anything as much as the cold winter days

I'm sharing a card I've made for Mother's Day
using the lovely new Lush Lilac collection from Heartfelt Creations

The new challenge is starting today at

Fab'n'Funky Challenges

and our theme is

Mother's Day

I'm sure there's a lot of Mother's Day cards around this week - so i expect to see you all there!!

I'll be visiting later today - I'm off to the gym this morning

See you soon
xx

How's this for a bit of colour!

Hi all

I hope everyone is safe and warm in this (horrible) weather we've been having!
i'll be glad to get back to normal next week with some rain 😄

I have a quick share with the lovely Singing in the Rain collection from Heartfelt Creations.
This is for the new challenge at

Moving Along wth the Times

the theme is

Rainbows

I decided to make a colourful Mother's Day card - working ahead of time for a change!  To be honest I'm still not sure that I like it! -I don't use such bright colours that often, I'm hoping it'll grow on me - maybe I need to embrace the change lol.

This is what I did....

Papers, stamps and dies - Singing in the Rain collection from Heartfelt Creations
'Happy Mothers Day' die -by Sue Wilson for Creative Expressions
Stamps coloured with Distress Oxides, Spectrum noir sparkle pens and SN pencils
Ribbon from my stash

hope you'll play along with us
