And it's christmas again......

Good morning all

Well it's definitely winter - and Christmas is in winter lol
Though to be fair we had some lovely sunshine here yesterday
- lets hope it lasts!

It's time for a new just for fun challenge at

Fab'n'Funky Challenges

and its our once a month theme of

Christmas

(we're trying hard to encourage good Christmas crafting habits!!)

This is a lovely stamp that I bought last year from Woodware - I love their stamps they are so easy to colour and always make quite quick and easy CAS cards.  I coloured these with the lovely Colourtint pencils from Crafter's Companion - just the perfect shades for this lovely image.  I coloured onto Canson Watercolour paper - I just love the texture of this paper - it makes such a huge difference to the finished result.

This is what I did....

Image - Peace from Woodware at Creative Expressions

Coloured with - Colourtint pencils from Crafter's Companion

Paper used - Canson Watercolour paper

Blackcard - from Crafter's Companion

It would be great to see you playing along - anything Christmas will do!

Birds of a feather.....

Good morning all

We have a new challenge starting at

Moving Along with the Times

our theme is

birds or feathers

I made this card for a dear friend's birthday

using this cute owl stamp from Woodware

I decided to go for a bright cheerful card rather than a serious floral

- sometimes we need a bit of fun in life : )

and the inside to match

This is what I did....

Image and sentiment - from Woodware stamps
coloured with spectrum Noir Colourblend pencils
Papers - LOTV Birdie Lane
Dies - Circles and scalloped circles - Grand nestabilities
        - flowers , leaves and border - MFT blueprints
       - Happy birthday - Sara Davies birthday signeature collection From Crafter's Companion
       - inside  word dies - Tattered Lace

Hope you can join in with us at Moving along with the times this challenge.

Anything Christmas Goes! - at Winter Wonderland

Good morning all

Hope you are well and enjoying some better weather

its been lovely and bright here this week - spring is in the air!!

We have a new challenge starting at

Winter Wonderland

and our theme is

Anything Christmas Goes

This is a very special challenge for the Winter Wonderland DT girls

It's our tribute to our lovely DT leader Eileen who sadly and unexpectedly

passed away last month - such a shock

We'd love you to join in with us as a lovely way of remembering this lovely lady

I have used a lovely Woodware stamp that I bought last year but never used.

I coloured it with my favourite of the moment - Spectrum Noir Colourblend pencils

Sort of grungy style but equally bright

I also used a very long lost paper pad from K and Co called 'Swell Noel'

I've had it years - so bright and colourful - the little chipboard shapes are from the same range

As a finishing touch I added good old Santa in black silhouette

cut with an Impression Obsessions die

We have a lovely sponsor this week

Little Claire Designs

Who are offering a fab prize of 3 digi stamps to our winner this week

I do hope you'll join us in our special challenge

it runs for 2 weeks - so lots of time to make Christmas cards!

Hugs
