Just sending a little Love,,,,,,,

Good morning all

I have a sneak peek of one of the the new release easel carddies from Crafter's Companion to share today - being releasednext week!

this one is the Heart Easel Die

I love easel cards they have always been my favourite to make- no matter what shape
I remember someone ssaying to me years ago that easels meant twice as much space to add lots of lovely details - and it's definitely true!

This is a fab set of dies which includes the hearts/ flowers and intricate detail dies
- so many possibilities

It also happens to be the start of a new challenge at

and the theme is

Love
( valentine, wedding, engagement etc)

So I thought I'd take the opportuity to make it a double event!

This is what I did....

Dies - Die'sire heart easel from Crafter's Companion
Love Die - Sara Davies sigmature love collection
I and you dies - Sizzix
Card - White - Centura Pearl (reverse)
            Red -Core'dnations card
Papers are an old set of papers from My Minds Eye called Love Me

Hope you'll join in with the love challenge at MAWTT- and watch out for this new die being releasd next week!

Hugs

Embossing (wet or dry at Moving along with the Times

Good morning all

And here I am again - two days in a row after after nothing for weeks - I'm putting the effort in to get back on track after my hollies : )

We have a new challenge starting today over at

Moving along with the Times

our theme this time is

Embossing
(wet or dry)

my card has both - just for good measure!

I made this card a while ago and kept it for this challenge as I knew i'd be struggling to catch up.
it's made with the Sara Davies Signature Shabby Chic range from Crafter's Companion
The dies are all dry embossed then 'wet embossed' with Stampendous Frantage powder for that real shabby chic look! - this is such a lovely range and makes it easy to create that Shabby Chic look - I know some people find it difficult to put together

What I did.....

Papers and image in centre of heart - 12x12 Shabby chic paper pad
Heart die - Die'sire essentials from Crafter's Companion
Dies all fro the Shabby Chic range except the heart
Stamp and flowers Shabby Chic from Crafter's Companion

Hope you'll play along with us this challenge - can't wait to see what you make!!

hugs

Things with wings challenge at Fab'n'Funky Challenges

Good morning all

Greetings from sunny Florida!

I expect you're all wondering where I got to lately!
Unfortunately we've had a pretty bad time over the last few months at home.  My father in law was very ill for a long time and sadly passed away on 31st October.  Things had been pretty bad for quite a while before that and to make things even worse I came down with flu just a few days after that.

We've eventually got through it all and were lucky enough to have our holiday in Florida booked for a well deserved break, We've been here for six days now and over the last couple of days I've felt almost human again!!

So hopefully I'll be able to pick back up on my blog a bit more now  - which has been sadly neglected of late : )

We have a new challenge over at

The theme was chosen by our lovely Sharon who  is hosting this week
and she has chosen the theme

Things with Wings

I didn't manage to make a card specially for this challenge but I did have one already made that fit the theme so decided to join in

We have a lovely sponsor this week

who are offering a fab prize for our winner

This is what I did....

Crafter's Companion 5x5 Create a card die - Country garden
and Crafters Companion 5x2 create a card die - thinking of you

with just a couple of sheets of card and a ribbon and some lace together with a sparkle embellie from creative expressions this card was very quick and easy to make

I hope you'll call in and check out the DT's creations and join in with our challenge this week
and I'll be visiting you all  again really soon!
