Don't you just love a fairy!

Good morning all

Hope you're all doing well today
I've come down a bit from my orbit that I've been in for the last few days lol
Some days i'm sure i'll meet myself on the way back!

We have a one of those challenges today at

-that I always enjoy - because I know it will bring lots of  pretty cards
the theme is

Fairies

I used a really cute image from TPS called
"There's a Fairy in my Tea" available HERE

This was one of those cards that I had no clue as to what I was making when I started!
I printed the image off - fairly large and cut it in a circle die and chose the pretty papers
After that it just sort of fell together by accident with some green card a couple dies and some ribbon and lace and pearls!  Photographing cards is such a problem this time of year (well for me it is!) - I much prefer natural light, and with much effort I eventually got this one by standing it on the windowsill in the conservatory -there's even a bit of greenery out there, could spring be on its way?!

As usual we have a great prize on offer at TPS challenge

The gift voucher

This is what I did....

Anything Goes at Penny's Papercrafty Challenge

Good morning all

Well another week has passed and I'm back again - where do these weeks go!

I've had another busy week doing goodness knows what! - my son Tom went to the commonwealth games in Glasgow and we had a couple of lovely days away (then another day out yesterday!)  in Northumberland, a visit to Eden Camp in North Yorkshire where we also took my Mother - she enjoyed reliving her WWII days - its a really interesting day out and the sun shone all day - so relaxing (and busy) and yet again - not much time for crafting - in spite of  my card theme this week - for me sun and craft don't mix well for me just now!!

Are you ready for a romantic moment?!

Good morning all

I'm back today with a new inspiration card for Whimsy stamps.  This one is from the gorgeous Fairy dust images and is called Romantic Moment available here

Isn't it just a gorgeous fairy image - I just loved it the minute I saw it and was dying to colour it up. I was originally going to colour it in pale pastel colours and went looking for papers to do that but when I saw this paper i decided to go with the pale green and red colour scheme and I really like how it turned out.  I went a bit overboard with the stickles - well you can with a fairy - and although the sparkle of the glitter on the wings is reflecting the light so that you cant see the wings too well - they are coloured in a graduated blue, green, pink and lilac design.

This is what I did.....
