Keep it Real at MAWTT!

Good morning blog friends

Its a new challenge today over at Moving along with the Times challenge Blog
 - my turn to host this week and I've chosen the theme

Keep it real
(no fantasy figures)

What does that mean you may well be asking, well it's simply this.  The main focus of your card must be a real living thing - people, animals, plants, trees  - any living breathing thing. Now here's the real controversial part - strictly no fantasy figures - that means no fairies, witches, wizards, teddies or toys. At the risk of upsetting some people I'm coming straight out and saying - fairies are not real!! - there I've said it, we're all entitled to our opinions and for today's challenge that is mine!

Here's my card for this weeks challenge.  I'm sure we've got the photograph of this stamp somewhere in our family album!  This - without a doubt - is my son Matthew, when he was little, with our brown tabby Persian cat,Toby.  He was the most gorgeous floppy bagpus of a cat, as soon as I saw this stamp it was mine and I made him a brown tabby when I coloured him!!

I was really excited this week to get a top 3 at Craft your Days Away challenge and  and a top 5 at Crafty Card Makers challenge for my last weeks DT card for MAWTT in the Nautical challenge- lets hope you like this one just as much!

Cute and Cuddly at Moving along With the Times

Hi again blog friends

Busy week this week - my four in a row.

Its Thursday so that means a new challenge at Moving Along With The Times and this weeks' host is our lovley Debs.  Debs has chosen the fun theme of

Cute and cuddly

The challenge is being sponsored by Dis Digi Downloads, why don't you  hop on over to their store to see all their great digi designs.

Our DT girls over at MAWTT have been very busy and have made some fab creations this week so come on over to the challenge blog and have a look, you're bound to be inspired.

Here is my card for this week

As soon as I saw this image I knew that this was my cute and cuddly card - cos this little girls cute and the bunnys cuddly!  I also knew I had the perfect paper to go with that checky trim on her dress.  I got these papers free with Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine.  They are from Websters Pages and are a collection of 36 papers in a 6x6 pad, quite the best giveaway I've had from a magazine cos all the papers are fab, I've used them a few times now .  I wanted to give this card a vintage look so I used only black and dark umber pencils for the shading.

This is what I did ....

Digi stamp - Mos digital pencil - Easter Bunny
Coloured with - Copics and Prismacolor pencils
Papers - Websters collection combo pack
Flowers - Prima
Pearls - Kaisercraft
Sentiment - Dawn Bibby Woodland Friends
Kraft card and ribbon from my stash

I'm sure everyone's got a cute and cuddly card in them for this week - Easter is the perfect time for cute and cuddly, so lets see what you can do.

Challenges I am entering with this card

Mos challenge - Photo inspiration
Charisma Card Challenges - Easter
Delightful challenges - Easter
Cute card thursday -Easter
Sarah Hurley challenge blog - Easter
Scrapbook sisters  - Easter
Thats all for me today
