Brown and Pink Challenge at MTTC

Good Morning blog friends

It's another challenge day at My Time to Craft Challenge Blog and the theme this week is

Pink and Brown

So the challenge is that your card should use only pink and brown (and skin colours)

I made quite a shocking discovery when I went to make this card - I have no brown card!! Its not something that I had even considered when I went to get my stuff out to make this card - saying as I have every other colour and shade of the rainbow (coloured card is a bit of a problem with me - I have to buy it!!) the question is why have I not got brown!!

I decided in the end to get over it and use craft instead - so I used tea dye distress ink on kraft card
and hey presto - brown card ha ha.

I decided to take the opportunity to use one of the cute girly LOTV girlies - very suitable for pink I think

This is what I did....

Card cut with spellbinders scalloped circle dies to make an easel card
Image - LOTV  Pretty Poinsettia
Sentiment - LOTV Christmas Circular sentiments
Paper -DCWV Christmas Multistack
Kraft card - QVC
Flowers - cut with spellbinders bitty blossoms die
Border die - Memory box frosty border
Snow highlighted with cosmic shimmer, cosmic pearl PVA
Gems from my stash

Challenges I intend to enter with this card

Crafty Anns challenge blog - Christmas
Dilly Beans - Anything girl
Stempelsonne challenge - a present for you
Card crafters circle - Use patterned paper
Lilis little fairies- Snow

Gorgeous card Judith. Love the cute image and wonderful layout/shape. Good job on turning kraft into brown - it goes perfect with that shade of pink. Thanks again for your kind words...every day is a little better. big hugs, Pat K.xx

This is fab Judith. Love the shape you've used for your card. I am *slightly* concerned that the little girl is going to collapse under the weight of the plant though....
