We want to see how "charming" you can be at The Paper Shelter this week!

Good morning all

Can you believe another month is almost gone! - its really quite scary the way this year is disappearing
and its also another week for team A over at

The Paper Shelter

and the theme is

"Charming" - use a charm on your card

and I've used this gorgeous new digi from TPS

called -It's time for tea -and  it's available here

As usual we have a great prize for the winner

Challenge prize badge

I'm still on my vintage thing - enjoying the new goodies I bought when I went to Florida recently, and a few I bought before I went too!!

My favourite new "toy" - is gilding wax- I just love effect it gives and its so easy to use.  I also used my new feather dies from MFT, I couldn't decide what to use to cut them - I thought card would be too heavy for the effect and I remembered that I had some glassine paper tucked away that I had never used - it was just perfect for the feathers and gave a lovely effect.

This is what I did....

Image - Its time for tea from The Paper Shelter
Coloured with copics
Distress ink - TH teadye
gulding wax - creative expressions - gold and bronze
Flowers - prima
Dies - fancy rectangle and circle - spellbinders, feathers - MFT,swirl die - magnolia
Jute - michaels
Glassine paper - TimHoltz
Wood butterfly -trincraft
Bow charm - from my stash
Papers and sentiment - LOTV
twine MFT

We'd love to see your charms this week - there are so many lovely ones about now - so join us at TPS this week

This is truly outstanding. It's getting an A+ from me!! the colors are perfect for this image and the era. I love your die cuts and using that glassine paper was perfect for those feathers and does give a wonderful effect. I LOVE the hue on this card. This is really catching my eye. That die cut shape around the image couldn't be prettier and I love how you highlighted it. This card is gorgeous and I've never done anything like this but would like to experiment a bit to get this look. It's definitely a wonderful piece of art work!! Hugs, Gail
