Focus on the image at Fab'n'Funky challenges

Good morning all

What do you know it's Wednesday all over again!
The weeks are flying by, the days are getting longer and we've had sunshine!
It's lovely to think that another couple of weeks and it will be spring, I love when the weather gets warmer and we can have the doors and windows open and warmer weather.

We have a lovely challenge for you at

Fab'n'Funky Challenges

this week it is

Focus On the Image

What we want is - lots of image - few embellies and papers lol!

The image I used is the lovely Pansie
from Artbymiran available here

I have to confess that this is a bit less CAS than I would usually make for a challenge like this
- but.... and this is getting to be a bad habit of mine!
- I didn't read the challenge properly
Not that I put a whole card together or anything but I cut, coloured and glittered a whole batch of flowers and leaves to make a pretty big ornate card, only to realise that I wasn't supposed to be making that sort of card at all!! - but I just had to use at least one flower, so I allowed myself to use just one and hoped you wouldn't notice lol. - the rest will be following on another card I think.

Our lovely sponsor for this challenge is

and the prize is 3 digi images of the winner's choice

This is what I did.....

Image - Pansie by Artbymiram
Coloured with copics
Flower and leaf stamps - Sheen Douglas
Coloured with copics and TH distress inks
Glitter - Martha Stewart
Sentiment stamp- Its only words from Ladybird crafts
Paper - LOTV - timeless victorian
Stitched rectangle die - Mama Elephant

See - it is fairly CAS!

Hope you can be a bit more focused on the image than I was  - see you over at Fab'n'Funky

Challenges I'm entering with this card

Artbymiran - anything goes (19/3)
Fresh brewed - flowers (17/03)

hugs
Judith xx

A fabulous card Judith, you have chosen a gorgeous image and such pretty colours. Your flower is fabulous, it doesn't distract from the image at all!

You made me laugh with your little confession Judith! I love your card and I think the focus is still very much on the image, and that embellishment is just the icing on the cake. :-)

Oh this is gorgeous Judith! she's adorable and you've coloured her so beautifully!! LOVE the wonderful flower and leaves.. they frame the image beautifully ! :-))
I'm looking forward to warmer weather... want to get out in the garden a bit more this year! I feel a bit like a mushroom after the long winter... kept in the dark... etc. lol
Hope you have a nice evening!
Big hugs, Sue B xx

This is gorgeous Judith...I think we've all misread a challenge at sometime! I've chosen a penguin image for a forthcoming birthday challenge...going to need some lateral thinking to get around that!! Carol x

Your eye is certainly drawn to the image here so it fits the challenge well I think and the pretty flower is just the right touch of detail.

It's a fab image, let's hope we can all get out and about a bit now the weather seems to be improving :-)

Big hugs, Kat xx
