Gone Fishin' - My something begining with "F"!

Good morning all

Hope this sunny morning finds you well and yes you read right - it's sunny, after over 48 hours it's finally stopped raining.  I can't believe how much rain we've had this summer and from what our trusty weatherman said last night its not quite over this week.  I wrapped myself up yesterday to walk the dog - its even hard to decide where to walk because the fields are flooded and the beach is covered by about 3 feet of white foamy stuff caused by the rain on the seawater - it looks like its been snowing down there. I did manage a walk but had to turn back early because the little bridge I normally cross over a small stream was under the stream instead of over it!! Goodness knows where we'll walk today as there's been another few inches of rain fallen since then - oh its such good fun ha ha!

Anyway onto today's card.  Its challenge day over at Fab'n'Funky challenges again and todays challenge is set by our lovely Emma - who has just announcd that she's leaving us - so sad to see you go Emma.  For her last challenge she has chosen the theme

Something begining with "F"

We have two fabulous sponsors this week, Our special first prize sponsor is Stampart by Kathryne

and our Random prize sponsor is the fabulous Di's digi downloads

 - so some great prizes up for grabs with week

I knew exactly which stamp to use for this challenge as soon as I saw it I knew it was perfect and I don't suppose theres many F for fish cards around!!  It's also challenge day at Inky impressions so thought this card would fit great for their Animals challenge today - is a fish an animal? - it is now!!

Its a really cute little stamp from inky Impressions from the last new release and its the cute little Christopher - he really does get up to all sorts of mischief!!  These are my absolute favourite little boy stamps, I just love the expression on his face

I coloured this image with a completely different paper in mind and had some die cuts from my cricut expression all planned but when I went looking for something else I came across this paper I had bought and never used yet and knew it was just perfect. at the same time I also "found" the foam shapes - so much for planning - so I just threw them all together - and there it was my F for Fish card!

This is what I did....

Image - Christopher Fishing fom Inky Impresions
Coloured with copics and prismcolor encils
Papers - Fine and dandy boy from My Minds Eye
Kraft card - QVC
Foam shapes - American crafts summer/ holiday house
Tickets - Tim holtz

Challenges I'm entering with this card

Hooked on crafts - Cards for men
Love to create - Anything goes
Make it Monday - Anything goes
Try it on tuesday - lots of layers

Hope the rain's stopped where you are! - have a great day

Hugs

Lovely card Judith, great image. So sorry you are having such bad weather, it rained here all day Monday and Tuesday, left lots of rubbish on the roads coming down from the hills, but as we live on quite a steep hill we are not too bad, though the river through our village is running very high!!! hopefully the worst is over.
