Are you ready for The Birds and The Bees!

Good morning all

This is my second post for today with the challenge over at Moving along with the times this week.

I'm having a busy old hostess week this week as its also my turn to host this challenge

The theme is

The Birds and the Bees!

That is any nature (birds, insects, animals or plants)
or
A New Baby card

Here is my card for the challenge

The image is just so pretty
Its one of the new release digis at Whimsy Stamps
its called Tulip Umbrella - available here

I love all kinds of colour combo - but I have to say my very favourite is pink and green and my favourite dies of the moment are those "Fabulous Phlox" from Memory Box.  I wanted these flowers to match the card exactly so I cut them all out of white card and coloured them with copics to match the colour of the flowers in the image.  This is my Mothers day card for my Mam - she likes to have flowers on cards - for some reason she has the idea that all of these images with children on - are for children!!

Anyway - this is what I did....

Image - Tulip Umbrella from Stampart Design by Kathryne
Sentiment - produced in word
Flowers and leaves - fabulous phlox by memory box
Papers - song bird from first edition
Card - Bazzill basics
Pearls from my stash
Pearl flowers - MCH
Butterfly - Whimsy stamps butterfly die
frame cut with spellbinders labels ten die

There are some really pretty cards on the MAWTT Challenge blog - go on over and have a look, you'll just love them!

challenges I'm entering with this card

Four crafty chicks -Die for dies
Craft challenge - spring /easter
Forever friends - lots of flowers
In the pink - floral/mothers day
Sincerely yours - mothers day
Crafty sentiments - pretty in pink
City crafter challenge - shades of pink
Fashionistas challenge - make it pink
Oldie but goody challenge - feeling floral (my favourite spellbinders labels 10 die- one of my oldest dies )
