Still stretching out these summer days - with a little help from The Paper Shelter - and uncle Bob!!!

Good morning all

I hope its still summer where you are!  - its not doing too bad here at all, not quite those balmy days we had but still quite warm and sunny most days - I can't believe that we actually got summer this year after the complete washout that was the last couple of summers.

We're keeping on with those summer days - just to stretch it out a bit more

and over at
The Paper Shelter

We're celebrating

Holiday Time
(hooray!!)

I'm reaching desperation point in trying to finish off my DT cards before I go off on my holiday time - so I decided to take the easy option with my card this week - you wouldn't believe how quickly you can put this card together.

This is Happy Times Beach Boy from The Paper Shelter - available here

I opted to use the precoloured version of the image that I fussy cut and mounted on foam pads and I used the matching papers too - the whole set comes together for the price - a real bargin and easy card - if you want it to be - or you can colour the lined version anyway you want to.

I'm really quite pleased with the effect of this card - its really bright and cheery -  I made it as an easel card and cut a sentiment and stuck on a few sticker embelies (I coloured the pink ones yellow/gold with my copics to match) - and as the old saying goes - Bob's your uncle lol - I haven't heard that said in years - but it fits the bill here ha ha

As always at The Paper Shelter you have the chance to win a $30 voucher to spend in store - if you use an image from The Paper Shelter - but even if you don't you can still win 3 gorgeous images from The Paper Shelter

The gift voucher

Here's what I did....

Image - Happy times beach boy from The Paper Shelter
Papers- from Happy times beach boy set from The Paper Shelter
Card - Bazzill Basics
Sentiment - LOTV
Circle dies- Spellbinders
Beach themed stickers - Jollies

You really need to stretch out the summer crafting while you can - there's far to many Christmas cards out there for my liking - lets see the sun instead of the snow this week
