So its back to school - did I hear a cheer!!

Good morning all

I'm back with my second scheduled post
This time its for The Paper Shelter Challenge

and the theme is

Back to school

I chose this really cute image called Back to School available here
-it seemed to be made for this card!!

It's not very often that i make a really OTT embellished card like this one  but the colours seemed to be just right - on the whole I think my style is much less "fussy" these days - but it made a nice change to make a different style of card.

This is what I did....

Image  back to school from the paper shelter
Coloured with copics and prismacoor pencils
Sentiments - LOTV
Distress ink - Tim Holtz Tea Die
Papers - lillibet from Trimcraft
Doilly, metal butterfly and some flowers also lillibet from trimcraft
Die cut heart banner - la la land
Large butterfly and matching flower - prima
other flowers - WOC
seambinding, pearl heart and gold raffia - from my stash

Hope we see you at The Paper Shelter challenge this week

Challenges I'm entering with this card

Colour throwdown - colour challenge
Stampotique design challenge - lots of layers challenge 115
Perfect sentiments challenge - ribbon, seam binding bakers twine or all 3!
Pennys papercrafty challenge - spooled items
Crafting for all seasons - back to school/ for a child
