I'm back today with my DT card for this weeks challenge at
Moving along with the Times
where our lovely Debs is "the hostess with the mostest" for this week
She has chosen the fab theme
Swirly girly pearly
Here's what I came up with
I was asked by a friend to make a Wedding card for her sister-in-law
and was dying to use this cute image from Tiddly Inks called you and me babe.
Its a very contemporary sort of image and I decide to go quite shabby chic with it
(I still haven't got over my shabby chic week of DT cards a few weeks ago!!)
I love pearly swirly cards and a wedding card is the perfect occasion to go totally OTT
Here's what I did...
Image - you and me babe from Tiddly Inks
Coloured with Copics and prismacolor pencils
Papers from MME - one is lost and found blush and I cant remember the other!!
Swirls from creative impressions
Fabric flower strip - Tim Holtz
Hearts banner - lala land die
Vintage seambinding ribbon - crafty ribbons
sentiment produced in word and cut with dienamics label die
Pearls from kars
Distress Ink - TH tea die
The inside is also decorated to match and there was a lovely shabby style box to match - but I for got to photograph them dir!
