New beginnings at Moving Long with the times this week

Good morning all

I'm here today for a new beginning - over at Moving Along at the Times - but also for myself as well!

I've been sorting out my rubber stamps of late and have been enjoying using them again instead of the digis that seem to get used more and more these days.
I have a huuuuge! collection of rubber stamps that sort of found their way to the back of the cupboard
so I've dusted them off and given them a promotion to the top drawer
- expect to see more!!

I've used a cute baby stamp from Lili of the Valley to make a baby card for our

New beginnings Challenge

This stamp is called Baby Blanket  and is available here
This is my favourite baby stamp I've used it so many times - I have 3 or 4 other baby stamps but for some reason I always go back to this one, I think because it can be for either a boy or a girl and I also tried to make this card the same - one size fits all lol!

This is what I did.....

Image - baby blanket from LOTV
Coloured with copics
Papers - petal fresh from LOTV
Lace, buttons, pearls and ribbon from my stash
Shaped card - craftwork cards
Die for mounts -Spellbinders
Hearts banner - lala land die
Letters - tim holtz vintage market dies
Craft hearts - dienamics
Distress ink - tea dye
Kraft card - MFT

Let's see your new beginnings over at MAWTT challenge this week

Challenges I'm entering with this card

Pennys paper crafty - anything goes
Paper pretties -buttons
Crafty sentiments - new
Oldie but a goodie - new beginnings (nothing on this card is new!!)
Crafting from the heart -  use buttons and pearls
Crafty little fairies - kraft
Creative knockouts - buttons

As you like it - favourite single colour (it has to be Kraft/neutral for me - I love the warmth of it )

Hugs Judith xx

This soft color scheme is gorgeous, so perfect for a baby card. The mix of neutrals with blue and pink and your choice of image make this card equally perfect for a baby boy as for a girl.

Gorgeous card Judith...lovely stamps and papers used. Funny, I have done the same, brought all of my wooden and clear stamps to the surface and I was shocked to see how many I have and never used...terrible isn't it...all that money...so this girl is doing the same...xxx

Hi Judith, oh that is just adorable!! Such a sweet image and I love your colour choices.

I wish I knew someone having a baby, the stamps are all so cute for that occasion, but unfortunately I don't!

Hope 2014 is a good year for you.
