Fantasy challenge at Moving along with the Times

Hi all

Well I'm back!
Where have you been I hear you ask lol

Well I've been on an adventure of 4 whole weeks in Florida, and we really did have a fabulous time, we've been home almost a week now - it's taken me until now to recover after a very tiring journey home because we were delayed 2 days when our flight was cancelled.  But I have to say we were very well looked after by the airline, but very late nights and early mornings take their toll on top of jet lag

All this is really just an excuse for my post being late lol - for some reason it was in draft not scheduled as i hadleft it -and I hadn't checked to see if it posted - sorry

Anyway .... there's a new challenge over at

MAWTT

and the theme is

Fantasy

I have a cute card that I made for my granddaughter Eva
 - she was 2 years old last week (how did that happen)

Eva loves Elsa from the Disney film Frozen (she calls her Selsa)
So when these dies were on sale a few weeks ago I thought they would make the perfect card for her

My favourite sort of Fantasy - a Disney film

This is what I did....

Frozen Dies and embossing folder from Create and Craft
Happy birthday die - tattered lace
Letters and number - Fashion dies from Crafters Companion
Card and acetate from my stash

Hope you can join in with our challenge - it's pure fantasy!

Christmas challenge at Fab'n'Funky Challenges

Good morning all

We have a new just for fun challenge at

Fab'n'Funky Challenges

and its our once a month theme of

Christmas
(we're trying hard to encourage good Christmas crafting habits!!)

This is a really quick and easy card - the sort you often need as Christmas sets you into a mad panic of last minute card making!  - but we don't want you to do that lol

This is what I did

Die cut Merry Christmas - Sara's Traditional Christmas rangefrom Crafter's Companion
Paper and snowflake stamp also from Sara's traditional range
and the music paper  is made with a stamp from Crafty Individuals
Distress ink - TH brushed corduroy

It would be great to see you playing along - anything Christmas will do!

Hugs

Everyones favourite - handmade flowers!

Good morning all

I don't think there's anyone who doesn't like a floral card and it's especailly nice to make your own flowers.  years ago when I first started paper crafting I used to think that making flowers was so clever and compicated and something far beyond my capabilities.   But with just a little a bit of practice and with the lovely stamps and dies that ae available now you can make such lovely flowers and now I have no idea why anyone would want to buy paper flowers to decorate cards and projects.

So on that note.....
We have a lovely new just for fun challenge at

Fab'n'Funky Challenges

and our theme is

Handmade Flowers

This card has just one large flower as the main focus of the card, frobably my most used favourite flower die, called lazy Daisy from Sara Davies' English Country Garden signature collection from Crafter's Companion.  I've used it soooo many times for all sorts of projects - it's such a statement flower and can be used in so many ways.  For this card I've cut the flower twice to create a full dimentional daisy flower.

I'm still on my hollies in Florida so hope you;re reading this scheduled post  😊
- and I've added a little bit of sunshine too!

This is what I did...

Flower and leaf die - Lazy Daisy from Sara Davies English Country Garden Signature collection
3D embossing folder - Country Garden by Crafter's Companion
Black card  and pastel card- Crafter's Companion
Sentiment - Anna Griffin

We'd love to see your handmade creations this week at Fab'n'Funky

hugs
