Todays card is a little fairy from Lili of the Valley. She is infact the only fairy stamp I own and has never been inked-up before, I'm not big on fairies most of the time but this one is a bit out of the ordinairy and I rather like her.
the photograph doesn't quite do the lovely glitter card and paper justice try as I might I just couldn't capture it - but I promise there is a lot of sparkle on this card! This is such a cute little stamp, I really enjoyed colouring her and spent ages blending with copics then prismacolor pencils to get her wings the way I wanted them, I also wanted to use my absolute favourite butterfly spellbinder die. I cut it twice to give it dimension, this butterfly is my favourite at the moment - though butterflies in general are top of my list! The flowers and gemstones were bought on ebay and just finish it off nicely. The "happy birthday" was cut on my cricut expression machine with the 3 birds -lifes a party cartridge.
